Side Navigation Menu | Spidercost

Side Navigation Menu


T he Sidebar Menu is located on the left side of your screen and will only display when logged into the platform.  It's divided into three sections. The Spidercost logo, Buying and Selling sections. It is also used to show alerts for the menu items: enquiries, orders, and compare quotes.
Use the Sidebar Navigation Menu for quick access to the Buying and Selling pages.

Dashboard

To navigate to your dashboard, click on the Spidercost logo at the top left corner of your screen.  (Please note: the dashboard is currently blank, we'll add stats and metrics to that screen in the near future!) 

Expand / Collapse Buttons

Minimize / Maximize Sidebar

Click the horizontal facing double chevron icon, as shown in the image below, to toggle the display of the Sidebar.  

  

Display / Hide Buying and Selling sections

To toggle the display of the Buying and Selling menus, click the vertical facing double chevron icon, as shown in the image below.  Your last selection is saved on your local device.  

  

Buying Menu

Contains links to all pages related to buying from the perspective of a buyer.
  1. Get Prices - Send quote requests (RFQs) to multiple suppliers.
  2. Compare Quotes - View and compare responses to your quotes and place orders.
  3. Current Orders - View and manage orders which were placed with Sellers.
  4. View History - View item quote and order history.
  5. Supplier Directory - Search for companies by name or Business Offering.

Selling Menu

Contains links to all pages related to selling from the perspective of a seller.
  1. Enquiries - View and respond to enquiries.
  2. Received Orders - View received orders.
  3. Business Offerings - Define what your company supplies.
